Jeezus.. here's a show I won't be watching.. the commerical.. one of them said they were spending 40-60K on the nursery! How fucked up will these kids be???

Seems every time I surf past it, there is a crying baby with some broodmare chasing it down the hallway, or a diaper is getting changed. People really watch this? -

Those kids now expect all this lavishness and whine if they don't get *exactly* what they want. Babies can't tell the difference - it's all about the parents if they want to spend a fortune. With all the dumpster diving and garage sailing I've been doing lately, it's apparent to me that cribs and baby clothes and stuff can be had for free or almost free - you don't need to spend much. Hell, they even give away breast pumps on Freecycle! But if you want to pay a fortune for baby stuff, there's a whole market of it out there.
